A person who was sexually abused as a child will wear those scars in whatever body they live in forever. I dated a few of lesbians who were sexually abused as kids, it's not an easy ride for a partner. Anything can trigger memories, also from one moment to the next can change a situation. You can be kissing and the next thing you know they cannot go on because it triggered a memory of the abuse.
