Pedophilia has also been linked and to this day some still link it to homosexuality, so I disagree with that because that's just recycled phobia. When we spoke on the phone I told you my stand, I hate that the trans* community pushes medical transition on people, especially younger people - medical transition is NOT a "fix all my problems" thing unless you are a true transsexual and still then one has to adjust to living and being perceived as a bio man or woman. A person who was sexually abused as a child will wear those scars in whatever body they live in forever. I dated a few of lesbians who were sexually abused as kids, it's not an easy ride for a partner. Anything can trigger memories, also from one moment to the next can change a situation. You can be kissing and the next thing you know they cannot go on because it triggered a memory of the abuse. In *my* experience, if anything women who were abused by men tend to not like or trust masculinity. One of my GFs had a very hard time with me because I am masculine, I have a hard time picturing her or any of the women I dated who were sexually abused by men wanting to be a man.
I'm not saying there can't be or aren't trans pedophiles, unfortunately in this world pedophiles come in all packages but to say someone transitions because of it is not fair and in my experience is far from the truth.
