a couple of days ago lorihollet and i went to this fancy resturaunt, 11 madison park, that i'm supposed to be appreticing at over the summer. since my chef at school assigned us a really harsh assignment to try similar desserts at different resturaunts, i wanted to go there and try thier famous choc souffle for 2 ( Read more... )

You know, I usually don't like white chocolate either--but you know what my new fave thing is? Reses White Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. Mmmm. Divine!

that sounds amazing. Mickey and I will have to go on a date there while you are apprenticing.

The chocolate souffle sounds the best out of all the things you mention.

do realize though, that it is extremely expensive (but really worth it). like, we paid for the souffle and two drinks-after tip the bill was $60!

Nick didn't mention that the souffle also came with this intense chocolate sauce that gets poured in the middle so it soaks and pools at the bottom of the souffle, as well as a plate of three different kinds of ice-cream and also a small plate of warm madeleines (spelling?).

Speaking of spelling, this post made me really grateful that I have never before tried to spell "sous-chef".
