business: advertising and logos

❤Hello, players of Vegas. Welcome to the creative side of DV. You are here because you have joined the working elite of Vegas and as such would like to jazz up your business's advertisement in the brochure and sprinkle a little love on your businesses personal page. Excellent!

Selling you business starts with a good hook. It's important to write a slogan or blurb about your business that attracts customers. Besides, it's required in your proposal.

We are going to put the blurb, slogan, and other information that was provided in your proposal and on your personal pages into the brochure as your business's advertisement. We make these pages based on what you have gives us but if you would like to modify, design, or write your own page. You can even make your own 647 x 700 pixel page for the brochure from scratch!

Blank page found here. Just let us know!

Examples of other business's advertisements can be seen in the brochure.

logo
This is your opportunity to create a unique logo for your beloved shop to be displayed in the welcome packet for all new players coming to Vegas and on the setting page (or wherever you feel like putting it! Show your hard work anywhere you please!) We would appreciate if each business owner would make their own logo for their business. You can make it in Photoshop, MSPaint, scan it from paper-- whatever works best for you! We will do the heavy lifting.
(Please keep the background of all logos white or transparent for consistency in design.)

Let's talk about AAA. My personal preference is to make logos in a software called AAA Logo. It's fast and easy to use and offers a ton of vectored and fully customizable objects and fonts. On the website you can download the trial for free. ** Every editing function of the software works during the trial mode and you can make yourself a pretty cool logo-- However, the save and export functions do not work in this free mode.

So, if you decide to go this route, when you are finished with your logo:
♣Press print screen (only do this ONCE or you will get an irremovable watermark.)
♣Paste your screen into another photo software (MSpaint, etc.)
♣Save it.

If you send this raw image to us, we will gladly edit out the grid for you, send you a copy, and post it in the brochure.

If there is enough interest, I will create a tutorial for the software.

This is a logo I made for DV, print screened, and edited in Photoshop in about 20 minutes or so.

Thank you for making DV such a beautiful and fun place to play in-- Keep up the great work!
