Well, I've been up to alot lately.
1). Worked at the end of the Bullet For My Valentine show at The Town Ballroom (The Sphere).
Cool, guys, just hard to understand them with their thick Welsh accents, drank some Corona's with them and chatted.
After that I helped with the mic cords, taking apart the drums and placing them in their cases, took their huge banner down, packed all their shit back in the trailer and then walked home.
2). The next day I worked the Ian Gillian/Terry Sulliven show at The Town Ballroom from 12:00 pm to 12:30 am.
I roadied, helped with soundcheck and setting up and barbacked.
It was a good show except for not getting paid.
The job offered $10/hour and for barbacking the 3 bars I was supposed to get a cut from all 3 bars.
Nope, by the end the bartenders fuckin' pocketed the cash and left me with nothing.
For 3 1/2 hours I fuckin' was running back and forth bring up 3 buckets of ice for each bar, countless cases of beer and emptying the bins full of empty bottles and sorting them quickly in order then run up and do it all over again.
Tony was also supposed to give me paperwork to fill out for me to get my check all settled, never showed up and by then end of the show he left after I swept that whole fuckin' place!
So once again I was fucked outta my money.
I'm never gonna see it, so for the shit they all pulled, they're goin' down big time.
I try to get in and see Tony but they always tell me he's not there.
I am seriously about to fuckin' bash up everyone there the next time I'm in there.
I want my $125.00 plus the tips I'm owed for barbacking and they made a killing at the bars.
3). The next day I barbacked as usual at Mohawk Place after the Square.
I got done with all my work in less than 2 hours and took me about less than an hour to sweep the whole place and mop.
Got my usual $25.00 as well.
4). Last night I worked as backdoor security at Mohawk Place for the Cheap Sex/The Scarred/From Under City of Chaos/Tainted Army.
Not a bad show, it was fun, had to help throw out some girls who were fighting, so we kicked them out by throwing them out the back door.
Got about $10 for sticking around and help clean up and $7 from Madd Dogg since he didn't have alot.
Got band practice tomorrow, that's gonna be great and after that...The Quakes at Mohawk Place!!!
