I'm surprisingly busy. Beyond stuff that is solitary and done simply for fun (such as video gaming) I've got a range of things on my plate:

For reasons that are not entirely clear to me, my left foot is hot. The rest of my body isn't. Just the left foot. I am not entirely sure what is causing this unusual body temperature distribution. I am not concerned as much as I am perplexed by this turn of events.

I am proud to welcome Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks to my album collection, as I was given the CD by one of the guys working at my internship. I am ashamed to admit this is the first Dylan album I own, though I do own several mp3s.
There's no doubt. I need more Bob Dylan. And the more I have, the more I want.

The planets must have been aligned or something today. After a pretty damn good day at the internship, I was feeling up and peppy. As I approached my car I was singing "Domino". Today was pretty exciting. I started working for a group called All Star Radio Networks as an intern. The job duties are really interesting. Unlike nearly every other job I've ever had, I have been given a goal - find a way to have one of their personalities move from radio into the print medium in a regular column. Yesterday was a nice day, especially when I was out and about in the afternoon. The temperature was just perfect for my leather jacket and the flaxen winter sunlight energized me. I had a very good Christmas, had a great time with the family, extended and immediate. That, above all, was the most wonderful gift I received this Christmas. For some reason, my hands have been taking a beating recently. On Wednesday, I managed to take a nice little cut on the underside of my right index finger from a rogue staple, a tiny horizontal slice. Saturday night's cast party brought a diagonal gash on the underside of my left thumb because of a huge splinter protruding from a wooden bannister. ( Read more... )
