Employment.

I am going to list reasons why it's so hard for me to find a job.

  • I haven't been looking for one.
  • I prefer to walk or take the bus, rather than drive to my job.
  • Incompete college education.
  • I hate people/customer service.
  • I hate the phone.
That's all. I would've blamed it on being fat, but I'm not fat anymore. Besides, fat people get jobs all the time. Other than that, I believe I am a hard-working, honest, responsible, intelligent person. In a perfect world, I would DESERVE a job. I would have reason to buy more clothes, makeup, hair products, shoes, and all those things working women buy. Unless, of course, it's a job where I would have to wear a uniform. But, still, there'd be money.

Not that there's not money now, but there'd be even more money, which means more trips to Target. But why would that matter? I hate driving to Target. I'd walk there everyday if it was a walkable distance, but not drive. I think my fear of driving is genetic (thanks, Mom!). However, I've driven farther than she ever did, and for that, I am proud.

Here's another reason I should work: I want a house. The way my brain works, though, tells me that I should get a house BEFORE getting a job. In my messed up mind, it is how things should work. It's like getting a loan, and paying it off. Get a house, work it off. Why work so hard if you don't know what you're working so hard for? Maybe for some reason, I won't get to buy a house, and all that hard work was for no reason.

Uh..then again, I guess that's how debts are formed. Make big purchases, thinking you can work it off, and then not...

So, does anyone need me to stuff some envelopes?
