where have all the clerical positions gone?

i'm trying to think of ways to make some money since the job market is crap. so far, i have:

.sell back old textbooks and books you don't want
.weed out closet and sell clothes at that consignment place laura was talking about
.start doing crafty bitch things and sell the results
.put stuff up for sale on e-bay [which totally goes against my pack-rat nature.]
.sell my soul, my services, or cooking
.become a pickpocket
.graft a money tree
.singlehandedly change the economy
.rob a bank; or any place with a cash register

yeah. october is going by way too fast for me. and so the countdown to a nervous breakdown begins.
