A supernatural tragedy

When I first heard about African parents turning away their children because they were witches, I wondered if it was simply a ploy to have them taken care of by someone else, perhaps someone like UNICEF, Amnesty International, or some other group or person(s) that might be give them a better opportunity in life. That was, however, I saw this video and heard accounts of the horrific tortures, and killings involved. This is undoubtedly a terrible combination of ignorance and belief in the supernatural coming together yet again to spread fear and grave suffering.
If you are given the chance to offer aid to African nations, do so through non-religious education funds. Knowledge can save many lives.
