It's a Bit After 5

And about 45 minutes ago, I awoke to the po-lice BEATING MY DOOR DOWN and it was pretty lame. Come to find out, a person has definitely flipped their car over in my front yard--or rather IN FRONT of my front yard and then the car was abandoned. Did the driver possibly live or know somewhere in my house and come inside? No? Alright. So then the po-lice had to search all about the yard WITH EXTREMELY BRIGHT LIGHTS and of course I had to watch. All the while I am curious and thinking to myself that, being the light sleeper that I am, how did I not hear the car wreck? And then they flipped the car back over so they could put it on the tow-truck and I didn't hear that either as I was looking at it. I'm sure it was MUCH louder when the car actually swerved and flipped into the tree in my driveway, but still. I was amazed that I didn't even hear the smallest thud when it was flipped back over correctly.

Now I am awake and my eyes are puffy and I no cash to my name for which to go purchase a $1 coffee. The thought of getting an earlier start on work sounds way fun, but not if I cannot look good. SO DAMN YOU, CRAZY (possibly inhebriated) DRIVER FOR SCREWING WITH MY SLEEP!

PS: I'm legal today.
