New Cable and Misplaced anger; yeah, that pretty much sums up my day ...

Woke up under the assumption that I was going to the beach .... didn't bother to pay attention to the weather ... I think everyone skipped town today. The cable men didn't actually get to my house until around 3:30 ... Cable men are never on time. I now have Time Warner Cable. I no longer have the "ghetto, let's pay $40 a month for only 23 channels," cable. Does that make me cool now?

I've been having these fits of anger lately and I have no idea where they come from. Maybe a result of hormonal imbalance?? Accompany that with an allergy attack that seemed to come outta nowhere (itchy eyes, itchy, runny nose, sore throat), and it equals one discontent little girl. I need somewhere to put all this anger, but where?

I asked my mom if I could have people over to spend the night tonight ... her response is no, because there "isn't enough food in the house." Granted, my friends and I can eat a lot, but we have yet to eat N E one out of house and home. She seems to always find excuses not to have people in this house .... it's never clean enough, there's never enough food, something has yet to be finished, etc. I'm sick of the excuses. My friends don't care if there's a little dust and dog hair in a corner by the couch ... at least I don't think they do. I have friends who have never seen the inside of my house ... how lame is that?

There is nowhere left to hide
There is nothing to be done
No people to be saved
No pets we've never names
40 miles from the sun

As darkness craves the mind
We come undone without our pride
No time on the earth to come
All the pleasures just begun
40 miles from the sun

In our coats beneath the layers
Wash my skin of all the hate
We should sleep late
Everything just kind of grates
40 miles from the sun
40 miles from the sun
40 miles from the sun

I need to lose to make it right
I'll confront the stars tonight
I will babble I will bite
You will never know how much you shine
40 miles from the sun
40 miles from the sun
40 miles from the sun
