(no subject)
Apartment hunting continues apace, despite not having the time to do viewings. I also haven't had time to sew in more than two weeks now, and I'm going to have to do another creative exercise of doom to get back in the groove. Last time I did that, I ended up with a bangin' dress that many of you have seen (it's the brown halter one with the ties in the back) that is possibly the comfiest thing I own. This time I'm making a hoodie with pintucks.
What has kept me so busy, you ask? The last couple of weeks have been really hectic with classes. My art class is thankfully done, and my English final was due yesterday. I pulled an all-nighter with a friend to get it done, and discovered that staying up all night on dex is infintely more fun with someone to cuddle with during breaks. He's moving away for a few months, so I've been helping him pack things up. Anyway, after my Physics final on Tuesday, I'll be home free (except for moving and next quarter starting).
The next apartment had better have space for my sewing stuff. I'm having pipe dreams of making a floating houseboatstudio with enough space for three or four people at once, but it's an expensive and time-consuming dream indeed.
