ok so maybe alabamas not so bad..... ;)
so im expecting to not enjoy our trip to the south power regional...but surprisingly i did! what a weekend!
we shared a bus with medea like last year....and so we FINALLY got to see their show (which ROCKED by the way) also this was the first time i got to see rachel in medea! yayy rachel!
the arena wasnt gigantic but it was still pretty big..and i liked the lights so that was a plus...
our prelims run was AWESOME! we had a great run...and so we went back in the stands so that we could watch nei....so we're all walking up the stairs through the stands and all of the sudden the entire audience starts clapping and screaming and standing up....like it was really loud...so we all turn around and look down at the floor expecting to see nei setting up...and wondering to ourselves who on earth is getting so much applause....so we look down on the floor, and nobodys there....they were screaming for US! wow....that was probably the coolest feeling in the world....
people were like bowing to us the whole weekend...literally...and moving out of their seats for us...and all this weird stuff...its pretty darn cool...
sooo even though our finals run wasnt too hot...we ended up winning the regional with an 86.2 (not a block score :( ) and beating flanagan by like...2 POINTS! yea...wasnt expecting that one after our crappy finals run....but yea we're all really happy! hopefully this will boost up our rankings even though we didnt make block..
o yea...and a certain "world class" guard that wears over alls and PIGTAILS was like laughing at us as we were walking by...wtf?? ur totally losing the regional (like..ur in dead last) and we're winning...dont laugh at us! and dont laugh at us ESPECIALLY since ur wearing freakin OVERALLS! eww...that pissed me off very badly
so i saw peter this weekend...and nicole! i was so surprised to see her! and jay! and lisa p! and others....
and i also think i've made my final decision on where im marching...hopefully everything will work out the way i want it to :)
well theres so much more to tell about the weekend...if u care THAT much...then ask me! and i'll be glad to tell u everything!
