+ So the cocksucking Merlin vid appears to have offended the delicate sensibilities of a crazy Christian dude. THIS IS SO AWESOME. And considering all the youtube searches that linked to it have been variations of Merlin and Arthur, Regurgitator (not a band for the easily offended), or sickos (heh) looking for cocks or the sucking of cocks (have these people never heard of pornotube?), and aforementioned offended dude shows no evidence of being a Merlin fan at all...we can only imagine how he FOUND it.
I just kinda love the idea of people who have nothing better to do, in between posting vids of their bible study shenanigans, than typing in dirty search subjects into youtube all in the name of research. In my imagination, Offended YouTube Guy searches for cocks on the internet every night after coming home from his latest Hell House performance.
+ Kyle XY. I was depressed enough at the cancellation news, but after this ep, I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY PRETTY BOYS AND GIRLS DAMNIT.
OMFG KYLE TOLD DECLAN HE LOVED HIM. This almost tops Declan's AFTER EVERYTHING? NOT COOL! moment as being the best and gayest thing ever with these boys. And I love Declan's giddy amusement at seeing Kyle get drunk and every time Kyle did something impossibly cute while under the influence, Declan was all, "Dude, I must go find a woman to make out with RIGHT NOW or I might do something stupid like tell Kyle how I really FEEL about him...*grabs nearest bald chick*" and then Kyle said, "I love you," and Declan was just "... *smiles*"
And then Declan behaviour became more and more off, and Kyle was all worried and then they pushed each other too far and fought and I LOVE that Josh had to get in between them and be all, "I'M THE KID! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE LOOKING AFTER ME!" because it's tough to see your daddies fight sometimes. Heh. And then Declan OPENED UP and TALKED ABOUT HIS FEELINGS (and his ankle - I love that they've kept Declan's ankle going through every season - because it really WOULD suck to have such a tangible weakness while trying to keep up with perfect Kyle) and Kyle was all concerned and forgiving and SWEET and there's no way Declan could resist that. Slash aside for a nanosecond, they really are great friends.
AND THEN THEY HUGGED. After Kyle said he loved him when SOBER. This episode was a freaking GIFT. Even FOSS came back for the gayness (and sucky news about Adam - poor Kyle.)
Also, I think Lori and Jessi should be BFF and Amanda should just die already. The End.
+ Big Love. I love Benny again! He was so sweet to his sister and I'm glad Sarah told him she's pregnant. Also, when Sarah asked Heather to the prom I SQUEED OUT LOUD, and then she said they'd take dates and I was sad, but then they asked Benny and Frankie and everything was squeetastic again!
I...don't really have any reaction either way to the adults' storylines. They keep me watching and all (and I love Margene), but it's the kids I love the most. And I want Benny for a brother.
+ Other shows I am watching and enjoying at the moment are Being Human (must make a note to check out fic sometime), United States of Tara (Marshall!), Flight of the Conchords (OMG THE AUSTRALIANS THIS WEEK WERE AWESOME - Alan Dale!) and Skins. And I think I'm finally going to dive right into this season of Smallville - I've been downloading each episode religiously but haven't been game enough to watch them for some reason. I think it had something to do with not wanted to harsh the Merlin buzz while that was airing.
