LJ keeps eating my comments tonight. It is very annoying. *shakes fist at LJ* I don't have time for your shenanigans now.
Maybe it'll behave itself in the morning. And hopefully it'll let me post because...
Ahahahahaha! Ahahahahaha! ... ... Ahahahahaha!
I'm sorry, that ending? FUNNIEST THING EVER! *takes a moment to mourn the emo hair* ... ... Ahahahaha!
Oh, Sylar, you are so awesome. And really, really hot. And *cutting Peter's hair*? Best thing ever. We should probably move on. Or start at the beginning, maybe.
Hee, Japanese "Previously".
Poor Matt. All chained up and made do party tricks. How long before he just makes up stuff up when they ask him to read minds? He's jut *got* to team up with HRG to take down the company now. I keep wanting him to be more heroic than he actually ever is. *sigh*
You know what I love about Claire? That she's still a teenage girl. She's not perfect, and even if running away probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, at least it shows she will still think for herself. With this many shady people in her life, that's a very good thing. Interesting that Grandma is involved now. And speaking French.
Nathan's working with the FBI! This was a really great ep for him. We learn that other aspect to his story, just like we did with HRG last week, and Hiro's little assessment at Linderman's summed it up nicely. Also, OMG, the Petrellicest is IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNORE.
Mrs Bennet's ringtone! Hee. Poor Mr Muggles being away from his family, but in hindsight, the kennels were probably safer. And how awesome that HRG finally *told* her everything. Of course, he totally should have seen the shapeshifter thing coming at the end.
Speaking of, how hot was Missy Peregrym in that skirt? Not quite as hot as Sylar, but damn. I wonder if Lex sometimes heads down to 33.1 and dresses Molly up like that.
Mmm, Sylar/Mohinder. And...*pumps fist in air* Go Mohinder! You sly little fox, you. I'm so proud you figured it out and tricked the trickster. Redemption comes in the form of drugged chai. *g* Although when Sylar was talking about feeling alone and insignificant, I don't think it was all an act. Poor baby. He just wanted to be loved! And, y'know, powerful and stuff.
There's something about Hiro/Nathan scenes that amuses me more than anything else on the show. The unbridled enthusiasm of Hiro coupled with the reserved, closed-up Nathan. Made of awesome.
Niki/Jessica just doesn't seem to interest me, but I do like that Niki seems to be stronger now. Her story is just so *slow*, and DL doesn't seem to have anything to do, and it'd be great to focus on Micah a little more now we know he's gifted. I thought it was going to turn out to be Micah trying to clue DL into the Jessica thing with little hints like the photo, but turns out it was just Niki and Micah must be unaware. See, their story *could* be interesting, which is why I'm not all, OMG I HATE THEM about it, but something has been missing.
Mohinder torturing Sylar? *fans self* I love Sylar's mind games, and Mohinder's eye-twitch and the imprint of the gun in Sylar's forehead for the rest of the scene. You know you're a fangirl when you're obsessing over a gun imprint. "Killing you will not give me what I need." *fondles very large syringe* *whispers in ear from behind* "...and it's going to hurt." Oh Heroes. I heart you for being so very gay. But Mohinder, dear. First you prove you're smart, and then you go and do something silly like taunt and hurt a serial killer. *shakes head* Good thing you're pretty.
Hee, Hiro finds his sword. Ando! The wink! The hug! I cheered out loud when Ando appeared to save the day. I may have even leapt out of my chair. How did I not see that coming? Yay! Hiro/Ando! Am a little concerned about them in the future, however. I can't slash these two. Their love is such a pure thing that I don't dare touch it.
And again Mohinder does something silly and talks about his great discovery in front of the brain-eating guy. It's very Mohinder, though, because he does have that need to feel validated about his work. Daddy left the boy with a lot of issues that Sylar is smart enough to pick up on. "Don't I deserve to be saved?" OMG Zachary Quinto, marry me. The tear! I just...*flails*. There are no words to describe the awesomeness of this guy. "I wasn't begging for my life, I was offering you yours." See? AWESOMENESS! I think, with that moment, this show just became my favourite. It has been creeping steadily up the list and now OMG I AM SO FANGIRLING SYLAR. And he parrots Mohinder's words back to him just to rub it in.
I love how Linderman is nothing at all how I pictured. Nice way to knock us all off balance there. Can't wait to learn more about him.
And back to the end. Heeeeee! Mohinder's all stuck to the ceiling like Mama Winchester. I was fully expecting him to go up in a ball of flames at any moment. And as much as I love Sylar/Mohinder for the pretty, I still remain pretty darn invested in Sylar/Peter. Sylar summed it up nicely - "You're like me, aren't ya?" I'm praying this isn't the end for either of them just yet, because I'm enjoying Sylar way too much and will they really kill Peter at this point? But when the big showdown *does* happen, I want it to be Peter against Sylar. The symmetry is far too good to be wasted.
Is that gonna be Peter's scar? It'd be neat if Peter were to carry a reminder of Sylar with him (although I'm not sure how it'd happen given the power he emo'd from Claire). And then whenever Sylar was near, Peter's scar could tingle like Harry Potter's. Heh.
In conclusion, I love Zachary Quinto. The rest is all icing on the Quinto cake, man.
