Kim has his new hair at last! It make him look younger and cute and...happier somehow.
That's all I've got from H&A, though. I liked watching Kim move furniture around for Colleen for an entire ep. Nice. They should have just kept 25 minutes of that footage and forgotten about the rest. There must be some way we could cut the crap and just hire Hemmo to come over to our houses and rearrange the living room one night a week, right? *g* I do strangely find Amanda's sister hot, but not enough to take the TV off mute when she's on.
TV Show breakups are so sad.
Have been watching other Aussie TV, however. One more ep of Dangerous to go and I'm FREAKING OUT because OMFG Dean! Mark! Donna! Gah! I love how they brought everything together.
I watched the first 2 eps of season 3 of Love My Way, too. Showtime's showing 2 new eps a week like a movie for some reason. Having only seen sporadic eps of the last two seasons, I've known that it's a pretty decent drama, but whenever I've tuned in, it's always been so *depressing*. But they've promised some happy this season, and there's the cute gay teen storyline now, so I'm trying it out.
Ben Mendelsohn's character annoys the living shit out of me. I can't stand him. I want to punch his arrogant face every time he's on the screen. *breathes* But he's Dylan's dad and Dylan's the cute gay teen, so I have to put up with it. (And I usually like Ben in various other roles, so he must be a good actor here.)
Dylan has one of those *good* love triangle things - with the lines all closed off. He likes his straight best friend, straight best friend likes their female friend, female friend likes Dylan. And this week, Dylan's dad all but locked the girl in a room with Dylan for the night, and encouraged him to experiment. Which he did. So now it's all awkward because the girl is in love, and Dylan is still gay, and the straight best friend is very, very pissed off. The end of the ep is just...wow. See, Dylan has these pet lizards. They're kinda cute and he loves them. And he comes home to find them all with their throats slashed. We're not sure who did it yet, but it's likely to be either the scorned best friend or the scorned girlfriend and OMG THEY KILLED THE LIZARDS. So uncool!
Yeah, not much with the happy yet, huh. There was also a miscarriage, supposed sexual assualt, co-parenting debate with lesbians, real estate auction and conversations about dead parents. In two eps. But there is fun, in the form of Brendan Cowell's character, who is totally my guy. I love him. I especially love his ephiphany. "I was fisted. I'm a man now." Ah, customs and your hilarious cavity searches. May you never lose the lolz.
And forgive me, but I've been tuning into Dancing With the Stars for some reason. My Uni readings make mention of Daryl's "cheesiness" which I found amusing. Anyway, I think Tim Campbell is made of awesome. The guy is clearly wasted on H&A because they never give Dan anything good to do, but put him in front of an audience and...wow. And I still live David because he's so bad. He's a farmer, a member of the National party, and he can't dance. He'd totally fail as a gay guy...if he wasn't so gay. Heh.
