I broke my resolve and watched some TV last night. Like you thought I wouldn't. But as
dearstranger1 reminded me just in the nick of time, Ben Lee's Live at the Chapel performance was on and I couldn't miss that! He was his usual adorable, infectious self and even after a small half hour set, he makes me wanna go out and save the world. More importantly, he makes be believe it can be done. That boy could run his own cult, I swear. *snerk*
Also I watched the At The Movies summer special because I didn't get a chance to catch it on Sunday night. Wow, they gave Brokeback Mountain the best review I've ever seen them give. Both Margaret *and* David. Awesome. It got a perfect score and it was amazing to see Margaret well up as she gushed about it, her voice shaking with emotion. She wanted to give it 10 out of 5 but David wouldn't let her. Heh. Then they basically ordered everyone to see it in January. Shyeah, if it even makes it to our screens.
Tonight is Tennant night! Blackpool will have to be recorded as I am *finally* going to see Harry Potter. Hopefully everyone will be seeing King Kong and we'll have a nice relaxed movie experience. (I'm not going to see KK in theatres. I don't care how fantastic it is, once a movie goes over 3 hours, it's like Chinese water torture and they're either going to have to install commode chairs - ew - or bring back the intermission for me to pay to sit there that long.) And we'll swing by Maccas to check for new Narnia toys, too.
