This week...

So. The week has come to an end. Where to start... ah yes. Merlin the contraband-sniffing dog. On Tuesday the junior class was introduced to the new so-called "drug dog" at school. It is SHOCKING how moronic and lame-brained some people can be.  After several questions rivaling "So does the dog get high?" in level of intelligence were asked, somebody stood up and asked "how the administration of [LJHS] finds itself to have the hubris to consider us all criminals."
*Gives a moment to let the stupidity of that question/statement sink in*
SO many things wrong with that statement.  First off, in no way, shape, or form does the school now "consider us all criminals."  That, my friends/enemies/random people, is nothing more than putting words in the school's hypothetical "mouth," a nice little rearranging of terms.  Thankfully, Prinicpal (no, it's not spelled wrong, if you understand it) Shelburne and Merlin's handler countered him with an argument that shot his out of the sky like an F-15 Eagle getting into a dogfight with a Cessna.  The truth of the matter is, if this company that manages the trained sniffing dogs had been doing anything illegal that violated anybody's rights, they would have gone out of business long before now, as they are 27 years old.  Secondly, there just HAPPENS to be some legal literature on the issue of search and seizure and a little term in law called in loco parentis.  The scariest thing is that more than 75% of the people in there clapped for him.  I could go on and on about this subject, but if you really want to hear my opinions on it, ask.  I'm too tired to type it all up coherently right now.

This is really incoherent as it is, but that's ok because I'm falling asleep as I type this and my brains are starting to feel like mush.

Tomorrow I get to find out what chair I am in Symphony.  Really nervous about that.

SO many tests this week...  It was insane.  Glad that it's over.

That pretty much sums it all up... other than the fact that I've been feeling really awkward recently.  It's like... life is both awesomely good and horrendously bad at the same time.  "Luckily" for me, I've been so busy these past few weeks I haven't had much time at all to think about it or deal with it, which has provided some relief, but any time (like right now) that I'm NOT doing something mentally draining, all the bad things come back to haunt.  Thursday started out awesome.  I don't know why; it just did.  Then, seemingly right after school, things went nuts...

Oh well.  A time will come during which somehow, all of this will be explained somehow...
