Am watching the alternate universe reboot of Choti Bahu. Looks like Dev and Radhika are the only actors transferred from the old show.
Still super excited, though. I hope they give Rubina Dilaik a more assertive Radhika to play. She was hilarious as her own evil twin sister in the original CB. Also Dev needs to not just... stand there and Look Significantly at things. Especially considering his Significant Look is kind of doofy.
(I miss Mrinalini, though. She was so bitchy! I loved her. Hopefully this one will have good evil siblings.)
Why are Indian soap operas so addictive???
Seriously, though, Rubina needs to play a villain in something. Imarti was my favorite character, even if she was only in the last few episodes.
ETA: Oh hey, Radhika's evil grandmother is now playing Dev's NICE grandmother. WTF??? lol
