For some reason, I misread that 'syllable' for 'word'. Then kept on seeing 'word'. I even posted a one word film title in reply yesterday.
So, heres a film with a title that's one syllable.
Clue.
Clue is one of those films - you either love it or you hate it. It's a rather zany comedy based on the game Clue (Cluedo in the UK).
Wadsworth, the butler (Tim Curry), is preparing for 6 guests who are invited to dinner by his employer, Mr. Boddy. When the guests arrive, it's shown that they're all strangers to each but they have one thing in common: They're all being blackmailed by Mr. Boddy. Wadsworth (another blackmail victim) has got them together in order to persuade them to go to the police.
Mr. Boddy gives each of them a gift of a lethal weapon. He tells them if he's exposed, they'll all be ruined. He tells them that someone needs to kill Wadsworth and then he turns off the light.
When the light is turned back on, Mr. Boddy is dead.
Who killed Mr. Boddy? Can the guests and Wadsworth figure it out before the police arrive?
The film is fast-paced, hilarious, and full of one liners. It also has three endings. If you haven't seen it, give it a go.
