happiness

Oz isn't the sort to show much emotion.
That doesn't mean he feels little, only that he tends to keep it to himself.Today that's harder. He's looking forward to Christmas. He's with the people he loves, everyone is safe, healthy, and seem to be doing all right.
He and the others found a tree for Christmas.It's a little early,but they'll cope.They
drag it home.Set it up in the living room.
He's in charge of shopping for presents, as Faith has a tendency to think that leather is a universally good solution to what to buy people. Not to mention, she and Brien have hinted at other plans for the evening, once he gets back.
The ring on his finger's warm as he slips on winter gloves and walks out to his van.Being able to do something as silly and normal as fighting for the latest Christmas "goodie" is refreshing.
He spends under an hour at the mall. The crowds aren't as bad during the daytime. At night, they'd scare the vampires away.
He sings softly along with the Christmas tunes playing on the PA system. Not loud enough to be obnoxious, but to elicit smiles from some of the nearby shopping daredevils in the check-out line with him.
He's happiest about the baby. They'd confirmed a week or so ago that it's a girl.
He'd suspected, but even with a wolf's senses, almost impossible to be sure.
A family.
The thought of being a father scares him a little, too. He wouldn't change it if he
could.
