In other words, the law firm where the new GOP chairman served as a senior partner helped its clients to win stimulus funds, even though the the tiresome Republican rallying cry over the past several months has been opposition to the stimulus. This is hardly the first example of Republican supporters benefiting from stimulus funds which they supposedly oppose.
Priebus' firm also took in nearly $90,000 in legal fees from the Republican Party while Priebus was chair of the Wisconsin state GOP. Seems to me like a conflict of interest and the kind of thing that people go to jail for in other contexts.
