Remember the
drawings that Colin Powell presented to the UN as supposed "evidence" of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction? I'm feeling a sense of deja vu. A
recently leaked graph allegedly shows that Iran has dreams of building a nuclear bomb three times as powerful as the one used on Hiroshima.
I, for one, am absolutely convinced. We have here an undated, unattributed graph from an unnamed person who works for a country that is also unnamed, but that is described as being "critical" of Iran's nuclear program (so of course, there's no possibility of confirmation bias). And the graph clearly shows some incredible energy output in a computer simulation. I mean . . . what more proof could a reasonable person need that Iran is an imminent threat to world peace and that we must invade immmediately?
That said, wars have been fought over
dumber things than this.
