[Background]
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Rose_Tyler [Personality]
Rose is, first and foremost, adventurous. She loves to explore, to meet new people, visit new worlds, and experience new culture. She's brave, and never afraid to jump in and help someone who needs helping. She's outspoken, and isn't afraid to let her opinion be known. She has a strong sense of morality and justice, and she's willing to cause a bit of friction, if it helps the situation. Growing up on an estate, lower middle class, to a single mother has definitely rounded her very well in that aspect. She's very grounded and down to earth, and she knows which battles to pick and how to fight them.
At the same time, though, she's a very optimistic, cheerful person. She's quirky, up-beat, and has a fun and sometimes inappropriate sense of humor. She can laugh at the worst of times, and often tries to ease tension or lighten the mood with flat, unimpressive jokes.
Rose is compassionate. One of the things that makes her most admirable in the show is her ability to empathize with nearly every being she comes across- especially in the episode 'Dalek', in which she manages to befriend one of the most emotionless, hate-inducing races known to the universe. She sympathizes with the creature to the extent that she stands up for it against the Doctor, showing off her moralistic nature and her refusal to let herself be pushed around.
She can be temperamental, and tends to think with her heart more so than her head. It got her into a bit of trouble in secondary school, when she dropped out at the insistence of her then lover Jimmy Stone. This decision really cost her, not only monetarily, but in the form of formal education. Although she is clever and quick to learn, she missed out on a lot of opportunities that might've come with the acquisition of her A-Levels. As such, her intelligence comes more from intuition and experience than actual education. Later in life, though, she did devote a lot of her time to more disciplined learning.
Her lower class history and lack of education unfortunately lead to a bit of inherent insecurity, for which she has been known to overcompensate. It often manifests in the form of jealousy or possessiveness. Her over-all friendly nature, though, eventually does allow her to get passed this. The best example of this is in the form of Sarah Jane Smith, who Rose was initially very unfriendly with due to her history with the Doctor, but the pair of them quickly moved passed it and became fast friends.
She's very determined, and refuses to give up without a fight. This is frequently displayed in the series, starting from the Gelth, through Parting of the Ways, and again in series four, in which it is revealed that she had spent most of her time working with Torchwood to develop the dimension canon despite the implied impossible odds. These can also be used as an example of her loyalty, which is very apparent, especially in regards to her family and the Doctor.
She's exceptionally stubborn, and does what she thinks is right regardless of the advice or warning of others. This can, occasionally, lead to recklessness when she jumps in head-first and doesn't stop to think about the consequences beforehand, such as in the episode 'father's day'. She can be a little brash or rude to people she feels deserve it, she can be snarky, especially in an argument, and often says things without thinking about them first.
Over all, though, she's a very positive, friendly person, who genuinely tries her best to help the people around her in any way she can.

[First Person]
- What were you doing before now?
I was actually a bit in the middle of something, mate, so if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to be getting back to that. There was a bit of a thing, with the earth. Right, no, yeah, I can see how you'd have missed that.
- If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be?
Really? Because I thought that earth thing was a bit important.
...You're not gonna drop it, are you? Alright, fine. One sentence? That's a bit... complicated.
Rose Tyler; Defender of Earth! No, wait, that was rubbish. Shop girl? No. Okay. Right, how about this. I'm a traveler that only stops for chips and explosions. Preferably chips.
- Would you consider yourself a well traveled person? If so, what are some of your favorite places? If not, would you want to travel or is there some place you want to go?
Ha. I'd say I've been around a bit, yeah. Not so much Earth, anymore. I tried traveling on my own, a bit, but it's not as fun, all guided tours and ropes and... fanny packs. I think the best trip is the kind you don't plan for. It just... happens. If I had to pick a place, though, I've always fancied going to Barcelona. The planet, not the city. I had this... friend, he mentioned it once. I never got around to going. I was always a bit busy.
- Is the best part of waking up having Folger's in your cup?
Dunno about you, but there's nothing good about waking up. Not really a morning person. Not really a coffee person, either, though there for a bit when Jack was on we had it pretty often. I'm British, I'm practically made of tea.
- Am I asking too many personal or strange questions?
They're a bit off the wall, yeah. Not exactly an interrogation, though.
- What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Now you're just having me on, aren't you?
- Hey, did you hear about that giant sale going on? Interested? What would you want to get?
There're more important things going on than--
...Where is it? Is it Harrods? Because I've been meaning to go there for ages. It's just that there's these shoes--
Never mind, not important, is this nearly over?
Space is brilliant. Wait, d'you mean as in the universe or what? Because empty space is a bit boring. Pretty, but like... space in general is brilliant. Going to planets and seeing the culture and stuff. Different ground, different sky, different people. It's amazing, really, what's out there. You never really believe it until you see it.
- How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Right, that's it, that's just- that's just stalling.
[Third Person]
- Describe what your character is doing/thinking/wishing/etc. in the following scenario: It's cold and raining. Their umbrella has blown over and is no longer usable. There are three buildings they could run to: 1) the closest is a dark, decrepit old shack that looks like it could fall over any minute, 2) a little ways down the street is an old, abandoned house, but is that blood dripping from the window...?, 3) three blocks up there is a nice hotel all lit up and looks pretty safe.
Rose was used to walking. She was used to running, actually, but walking was only running before something started chasing you. It wasn't the walking that was bugging her, it was the bloody annoying misting rain that started to fall. She tugged her hood up, scowling, and shifted her bag over to dig through it. Where was that umbrella? She definitely packed an- oh, there. Alright, brilliant.
She pulled it out and flicked the little switch. It popped open easily enough, and she shifted it down over her head. Still an hour to go until her jumper charged and she could get back home, and she didn't have anywhere to go. The rain was picking up, from misting to streaming, from streaming to pouring, and she increased her pace, jogging now down the empty street. Just as long as she had her umbrella, she'd be alright.
Which is, of course, why the universe decided that the wind had to gust, jerking the umbrella up and bending the wires, tugging it away and down the street. She stared after it, mouth agape, blinking for a few seconds.
“Oh, you've gotta be kidding me.” Nope. Not kidding, then. Okay. Shelter. Right up the road, that shack from Harry Potter. Beyond that, probably the creepiest house she'd ever seen, and far off in the distance at least half a mile off, a blinking motel sign. Which would've been the obvious choice, except a rather sharp crack of thunder signaled that she really needed to get out of the open. She pushed herself into a sprint, running full-tilt towards the closest option. So, it was a rickety shack. It'd probably last for the next hour, just until her jumper recharged.
Her feet smacked the pavement, she tugged the door open, shoved in, and slammed it behind her. She puffed out a breath, resting her back against it while her eyes adjusted. Of course it would be completely dark.
After a moment's hesitation she stepped further in, absently unzipping her soaked jacket and tugging it off. She peered through the darkness.
“Hello? Anybody home?” Something creaked, though whether it was her own footsteps or just the shifting of the house, she couldn't be sure. “Sorry, it's just that it's pouring out and I-- That's good. I'm talking to an empty room. First sign of madness, that is.”
The room was threadbare and dusty, her footsteps were perfectly marked in the gray powder that covered the entirety of the floor. The center area rug was frayed, the couch busted. No, definitely not habitable. She trailed her fingers along the back of the couch as she walked passed it, heading for the next room to poke around. Dusty, empty kitchen. The whole place seemed... creepy, and it was startlingly silent considering the rain coming down in sheets, the howling wind and crashing thunder. It was all muffled, which shouldn't have been possible judging by the cracks in the walls.
“I... really probably shouldn't be in here.”
She didn't leave. Where else was she going to go? Amityville Horror up the road? Maybe a quick kip to Perth? Like it or not, it was her best option.
Well, she thought so, at least, until she heard a voice behind her.
“No. You shouldn't.”
She froze. Closed her eyes. Sighed. “No chance you're just gonna go away if I don't turn around, is there?”
“Nope.”
“Didn't think so.”
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] I've been looking for a relatively populated, medium-paced game for ages! Rose is really my main character, so I chose the game based around her, rather than her based on the game.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] Oho, clever way to ensure the rules are read! I rather like the 'be nice to other players' rule. I'm a hippy, all the way.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] I was recommended by a fellow Rose player.
[Any questions?] Not off the top of my head.
