where does the time go
I am kicking myself as I wanted to post more here. I think it will help my writing and through process.
I am having more difficulty remmebering things, names and what not. I started remembering some nostalgia from 3rd grade playing hand ball. We played with the red balls against a back drop but we played it hit the ground first then the wall. (reverse from normal play and raquetball) That allowed us to do weird things like spinnies and slices and drop balls and water falls. I remember those being good times. We could play with alot of kids, and when you got the person out next to you they would go stand in line till there was only one person left. It always sucked being behind a really good player, but sometimes they would be nice to you. I vaguely remember being one of the better kids about 4 of us, but I only remember Jose's name. I don't recall the other kids names. Strange.
Emily had her 3rd bday aniversary this last sunday. I finally had friends come to visit that had never seen my new house. (new to me) We had quite a few people over and I think it went pretty well. The original forcast was for ran, but it was only just very cold. ( I don't think people brought heavy enough clothing so we mostly stayed inside. We did get to look around the yard and I was able to show people the property. A few people who were going to come didn't make it but that is ok, life happens.
Ken and Nanci came over and really did a number on the yard. I don't know what I would do without them. I now hae two huge piles of branches and tree trimmings, and a new compost pile. (exciting) I need to bring a few more railroad ties over to it, but it is a good start. I need to review the compost process so I can mix and add water as required. We planted a our two trees, but I don't now if they have been waterd lately. Just sent email to request they be watered.
It seems much of the heavy lifting is done, but I still want to Dry wall my garage. That is next on my list, but there is so much prep before I can start that and the Green room needs to be started before I can start that. So much to do. Maybe the heavy lifting isn't complete yet.
Work is changing again, There are adding service roles or something. They have not released the informatin yet, but someday soon we should be getting the word on how our work will change. I am looking forward to a new challange.
