voting, magenta trees and artichokes

I’m such a nerd. I actually had a dream the other night that all my hideous trees sold and I was feverishly trying to un-box the ones I hadn’t put out yet so that people could buy those too. I was so proud of myself, and I told my mangier, Chris that he owed me lunch now. (He told me that if I managed to sell all of the trees he’d buy me lunch.)

God I’m a nerd that I care that much.

In other news I was craving an artichoke yesterday at work and though about going to get one at the Super target on my way home, but, as I got in my car, I realized that Target would be closed (it was about 10:30) so I decided not to. Then, as I was driving down 94 a car merged in front of me with the licence plate “LJE 375” I was like “That’s my initials!!” then it proceeded to make all the same exits and lane changes as I did. So I stayed behind this car for quite a while. Finally it signalled to get off on Central. I decided to follow it, out of curiosity. It turned north. Target, Rainbow and my house were all south. So I left the LJE car and went to rainbow where I bought an artichoke and organic milk, then stood in line next to a man wearing zubas. He made me feel a little less weird.

I came home and thoroughly enjoyed my artichoke while watching “the Daily show”

Right now I’m doing laundry so that I have clean pants to wear to go vote in. Later tonight I’m going to The Wilde Roast where MAP is having a voting shindig.

Tomorrow it’s back to work… although there’s a regional manager in charge of gifts and stationary coming in to look at our store. Gulp. Hope I’m doing well.
