A pink PC laptop for Karen
This afternoon, I used the DELL online site to order a new custom built laptop for Karen. Since I was never able to get around to buying her the pink Roxie Schwin bicycle for her birthday and Mother's Day, I am giving her this state of the art pink laptop instead. Crash and Burn... Again (Bad PC. Bad)
Well, I scheduled the day off today so that i could accomplish some things that I had been putting off due to lack of time to myself:- Finish scanning the "Razor's Edge" issues that I borrowed from Ransom last summer.

Our PC is home and better than ever.

Gaming / Media PC Repairs
We finally received the gift card, from the Geek Squad/Best Buy, this past week; and Karen and I went to buy the new hard drives Sunday Morning. After taxes, the two 320 Gb hard drives ended up costing $256.96, leaving a balance of $3.04 on the gift card. PC CRASH!!
The weirdest thing happened this past weekend. Sunday night, I fell asleep in my PC chair with my PC running. The only programs runnin on the machine were Microsoft Outlook - for my email, Internet Explorer - with CNN.com up on the screen, and 'My Pictures Slideshow' - which I had been using to look at pictures that we had recently taken ( Read more... ) -

PC woes SITREP (update)
