I'm and Uncle.
A little after 10 AM, this morning, Brother Steve and his fiance, Crystal, wlecomed the birth of their baby boy, Austin Timothy into this world. He weighed 5 ponds and 15 oz., and was just at 18 inches long. Quite a bit smaller than both of my children, but I've been assured that he is healthy and doing absolutely fine.
As soon as I get off of work this evening, Karen and I will go up to the hospital and see this new bundle of joy. They are all in the same hospital that Delaney was born in nearly one full year ago. Karen is excited that the family has another May baby to celebrate a birthday for every year. She and Steve are both May babies as well.
My mom and Dad had been up at the hospital since right before Austin was born, and they have been trying to email out pictures of the baby ever since they got home. Mom has called several times to see if I have gotten the photos yet. I'll probably have to wait until I get home to see them, Citi has some pretty scrutinizing firewall programs; and most of my friend's and family's home email addresses can't get past the spam blocker. I usually have to have Karen forward emails from her work address over to mine here at work. Since Citi and Principal Financial have a previous working history, her email address is flagged as a safe source.
