"Don't look at me like that, I'm not psychic." Charlie eventually lets go of Neville completely, but Neville still feels woozy.
"So…?"
"Malfoy is standing right there."
Neville whipped around and found a slightly angry-looking Malfoy staring at Neville.
"Excuse me." Neville hurried away from Charlie and grabbed Draco by the elbow. He dragged Draco to a vacant corner and spoke softly. "I was gonna Floo call you."
"But you decided to flirt with Potter's date? What was he proposing a threesome tonight?"
"What?" Neville huffed out. "No. What is wrong with you?"
"Why weren't you with Percy?"
"Because…" Neville stressed. "He went home with Oliver, and before you repeat it, no, he was also not proposing a threesome tonight. You know, for someone who wants monogamy from Harry, you talk about group sex a lot."
"I do not."
Neville laughed. "You're infuriating. Why are you here?"
"Well… Potter. And Charlie. He's got those arms and that jaw…"
"Harry is a bit drunk already, so I wouldn't blame him."
"Longbottom!" Draco smacked Neville's arm. It hurt. "If you make a joke like that again, I'm going to destroy all your gifts for the Weasleys, and you'll have trouble finding presents and wrapping paper, and I'll hex all your purchases, and you'll never be able to wrap a gift in your life again!"
"Okay, yeah. You're not dramatic. Why don't you just tell Harry what you want?"
Draco rolled his eyes. "I'm not a Gryffindor."
"And he's part Slytherin, remember? He brought Charlie here so you'd admit your feelings. Frankly, once again, I have to say this. I am tired of your games."
"Yes, because you were so honest with your feelings."
Neville scowled. "Once, I didn't confess my feelings to someone once, and they decided to shag Viktor Krum. And you're going to hold that over my head for the rest of my life, along with the threat of being unable to wrap gifts. That's what we pay house-elves for."
"I hate you."
"Right, come here." Neville pulled Draco towards him and wrapped his arms around him. He knew Draco was freaking out, and his way of showing it was to get meaner, nastier, tear up, and hex someone.
"Hmm," Draco said begrudgingly, though he soon deepened the hug, settling his nose against Neville's shoulder.
