I think the best book for the month / most surprising was SACRATI, I cannot recommend it highly enough. I adore battle/fantasy au stories and def. this one w/ a twist of "slave ownership" to save someone (pretend they're your slave when they're not -- and then fall in love with me. like, really). It really stayed with me something positive. The worst book, surprisingly given how many people gave it high markings was Some kind of magic - I was so bored w/ the characters, I couldn't wait to finish it.

Brokeback Mountain was a nice touch this month - listened to it in one ride home from work and nearly cried in all the right parts in the bus. HA.
