(no subject)
i can't stand it when people drive slow. its prolly the number 1 thing that really pisses me off. the incentive for this entry is that i drive route 16 everyday to work (the part of route 16 that is 55 mph), and 80 percent of the people on that road go 40 or 45. it makes me evry upset. just go the speed limit. is that too mush to ask? its not a winding road, not a hilly road, not a dangerous road. OY! everytime i tried to pass there was a car in the other lane. needless to say, this vexed me.
also, there was a slight scare at work. first, let me say that i work with 2 other guys doing maintence at a boarding school, and we have about 1.5 hours of work to fit into 4 hours, so naturally there is a great deal of slacking going on. anyway, today we were sitting in a rarly used mudroom off the bathroom of one of the dorms. tim was supposed to be watching for anybody coming (besides us there's 5 full time maintenence guys) when one of them came into the bathroom, and started making a racket putting up new shower curtains. tim panicked and started talking about ways to escape, which mostly consisted of taking the windows apart and climing through them. we were absolutly silent and still for about twenty minutes, while rob kept telling time to jsut sit tight and i was trying not to laugh at the whole thing.
