People rarely question where I got my internet name from, they assume it's because I'm trying to be all hax0r like or something. This is actually pretty far from the truth.
My internet name is the result of an oft volunteereing I would do for my current boss (before he was my boss actually), of doing digitizing on a non-linear editor, of a low res project to high res media. This was back in the day when hard drives where smaller, of course. So around this time I needed to come up with an alias, and "Digitizer" seemed to fit.
The only reason this comes up is because for the last two days, I've been "capturing" (as it's called these days), for our documentary. However, it's still digitizing when it comes off our beta deck, and that's what I'm doing. Digitizer's just doing his job.
