Summary: (Avengers AU) Bruce and Tony met less than two days before Tony flew a nuke through a portal and didn't come back, but those two days were enough to change Bruce's life forever. In the aftermath, Bruce is left to figure out where he fits into a post-Tony Stark world and, with the help of the Avengers, SHIELD, and Pepper Potts, discovers in Tony's loss things he thought he'd never have - things like comfort, stability, and maybe even happiness. And then Tony comes home.

Artist's notes: I did it! I made it through the WIP Big bang. Even with everything going on in our real lives, I managed to not let my author down, which is hugely important to me. Once again, I can't give enough thanks to my partner, _morning_glow! She's still in the midst of writing a great story and I really enjoyed having the chance to work with her. Best of all, I got to have a sneak peek of the goodness still to come!
I also want to give a huge thank you to the mods of wipbigbang for all their incredible work. I know how hard it is to run any kind of challenge like this. Thank you for giving me the chance to add my art to something I've loved so much over the years. :)
