Lee has a trip for school coming up next week and, as always, Indiana University makes its employees pay all their travel expenses up front, then they reimburse us a few weeks later. What this means is that we have to pay for two nights lodging for Lee in Indianapolis, his meals, etc. With everything we've been having to pay out for the house damages, mom's medical stuff, etc. we are broke most of the time as it is. Much less with being expected to be IU's lending agent. Unfortunately, it's university policy so we don't have a choice. He has another trip he has to do on the 30th but, thankfully, we get paid that day so that trip will be covered.
What that means is that I'm going to be trying to sell a bunch of stuff between now and Tuesday, the 22nd. That's when we'll need to have at least the hotel expenses covered. I'm working on getting pictures taken of everything right now and hope to start getting stuff posted tomorrow.
One of the things we've decided to try and sell is our Sony DSC-S85 4.1 MP Digital/Video camera. We got it when Lee was still freelance and needed a high-end camera for his work. The Sony was great because it had Digital quality with both automatic & manual controls. It also had a high-end Carl Zeiss lens that came with it.
We got it back in 2003 but it's still like new. We paid $350.00 at the time we bought it just for the camera. What we'll be selling includes the camera, (2) 128mb memory cards, (1) 16mb memory card, (2) Lithium batteries, the shoulder strap, (1) USB transfer cable, a carrying case, the manual, the power supply/recharger and its original box. I can take pictures of everything if you'd like.
Here's a review on the camera itself:
Camera Specs & Review We'd like to get $60.00 for everything if possible. Would anyone be interested? Just let me know.
*hugs*
