(no subject)
So I haven't posted in my journal since I started working at So Cal Alterations Inc.....or "ALTA" as we all call it. I've been insanely busy working there full time 6 days a week and trying to keep up with my small business on my day off. It's been hell, it's been fun, it's over....
Today, just as we're closing.....Gushi (the owner of another japanese auto shop nearby and basically a cool guy that hangs out at alta too much) announces that he's the new manager of Alta. The headquarters in Japan had appointed him to clean up Alta and reorganize the mofo since our current manager, Oohara san, was doing a horrible job. Oohara san is a crack addicted 37 year old who think's he's still 16, doesn't speak english, and enjoys cheating on his wife and family back in Japan....with anyone.....his latest scandal was basically paying our last secretary, who is 21 mind you, to give him....well it was basically prostitution. We teased him about it, walked by her and said "sniff sniff, i smell oohara..." and basically gave them both hell all the time. Anyhow, he's obviously not fit to be a manager in the first place. So no Gushi is taking over, and to recover from the losses Oohara had put the company in, he let everyone go except Oohara since Oohara is the only one capable of doing EVERYTHING and ANYTHING as far as shopwork goes. Gushi told me I could work for them again in a month after they got the shop together again but it's basically a lose lose situation for me since i need to find a different source of income either way.
Soooooooooooooo yeah, i'm out of a job and hoping they don't try to screw me over with my paycheck tomorrow....or i will seriously get pissed. I guess it's all good since i was overworking myself and had absolutely no free time....but it means a job hunt is on. I guess i need to get my shizz together and find another job.
To make matters worse, the other day....errr morning, at 2:30am on the 10 fwy, I was pulled over for going 101mph!!!! Was I speeding....of course......was i going 101?? hell no!! I was going about 85~90mph in the fast lane.....c'mon, it's 2:30AM!! I saw the cop fly up from behind.....while he was still very far from me, i slowed down and pulled into the next lane. He swerved and almost rear-ended me. He first said i was going 100mph......then wrote me a ticket for 101mph.....then i told him i wasn't going near that fast and he said I was going 105mph but he was giving me a "break." I can't believe what a corrupt cop he was!!! I was in a freaking 4 door, 4 cylinder econo-car.....a pontiac sunfire......the speed limiter on the thing is 108mph exactly......i am so frustrated with how idiotic our cops are here in calif. Anyways, i'm fighting it. If i lose, my license will get suspended for 31 days, if i win.....well, i get a cookie.....but jeeeeeze, what a pain in the arse.....freaking CHP!!
So anyways, I'm going to try and have a social life again.....find a job....post here more often....y'know....the good stuff.....ganbaru!
