I've been updating a lot lately, huh?

What do people do when someone keeps pimping Linkin Park and Avril Lavigne like it's the hottest thing ever? I try to politely nod and listen to the song at least once, but he seems to take this as a sign that I like the songs. Oops. And I said I liked metal (once upon a time) and the reply was 'me too, I like Linkin Park!'...uh. I find that very hard to reply to.

Again, I am conflicted about je_otherworlds and k8_exchange! I already might possibly have one obligation, and truth be told I'm thinking about trying to get into graduate school so I'm crazily busy right now. But that's my favorite genre and my favorite group! My love for AUs is possibly unhealthy. And last year I wasn't a fan of Eito yet, so I didn't have the chance to participate. I might not have the time to write either, but the crazy part of me wants to pick at least one. And I CAN'T. Also, je_otherworlds intimidates me; everyone that's signed up so far has so much more control over the English language than I do! Not that the K8 exchange is that much different, but being all fans of the same group makes me feel more at home or something. I DON'T EVEN KNOW!

Most of the time, I want to tell a story without putting it into words. LMAO.

I keep thinking about what this year could have been like. If the earthquake didn't happen, I mean. Yamapi would be answering every question with something about his Asia tour well into year's end and next year. This could have the year about Kis-My-Ft2. Now I wonder what they're going to do with them when this clearly isn't the time to be pushing something brand new at everyone. Everyone was hyping about Kanjani8 taking over 24hrTV, but again, not quite the time. I feel uncomfortable seeing people complain about what Johnny-san decided to do with whatever groups, because no, there isn't a popularity contest going on. This is about bringing people's attention to their cause, and in the end they decided that pushing everyone was a good idea.

What I do like to do, though, is make fun of everything. This is what a Japanese fan wrote:SMAP(5)+TOKIO(5)+V6(6)+KinKi Kids(2)+嵐(5)+タッキー&翼(2)+NEWS(6)+KAT-TUN(5)+赤西仁(1)+Hey!Say!JUMP(10)+NYC(+1)=ジャニーズ48!
And before the Eito fans get offended, this is obviously a joke and it's all about numbers. If you honestly want, just take out KAT-TUN and Akanishi and replace it with Kanjani8, which works for me.

So, revised: SMAP(5)+TOKIO(5)+V6(6)+KinKi Kids(2)+嵐(5)+タッキー&翼(2)+NEWS(6)+Kanjani8(+6)+Hey!Say!JUMP(10)+NYC(+1) = JNS48!
Or, take out HSJ and replace it with Kanjani8 and Uchi and...um, Higashiyama? *bricked* Oh wait, Toma! Which would be sad because even not as fan, I recognize HSJ as the next generation and we do need people to keep this gig up, but really, ignore me while I'm being silly. Also, take out SMAP and you can have KAT-TUN back.

I don't pay much attention to Kis-My-Ft2 lately, but seeing them all in one line according to their places in their group name, I kinda want to ship Fujigaya/Tamamori, just because then I could call them the Foot pair. This means no, I don't actually ship them.

Okay, back to homework. Something tells me that my math skills are incredibly rusty. I have no one but myself to blame.

johnny's entertainment, my fandom-consumed brain, j-pop is serious business, strangely talkative at midnight, school sucks
