“And then Ken told me all about this amazing new program he’s designing,” Miyako sighed dreamily.
Koushiro frowned and muttered under his breath.
“What was that?” Miyako asked. “I didn’t quite hear you.”
“I just said, he told me about it, and it didn’t sound all that amazing to me.”
Miyako stared at him, hand over her mouth, and Koushiro pretended to be absorbed in his typing.
“Oooooh!” Miyako erupted suddenly enough to make Koushiro jump. “Get you!”
“I didn’t mean it like that,” Koushiro mumbled.
“Whatever. Back in the knife drawer with you, missy!”
“Seriously,” he insisted. “I’m sure it will be very good.”
“Very good? Hah, saucer of milk, table two!”
“Miyakooo,” Koushiro growled.
“Sharpen your claws last night, did you?”
“What will it take to make you stop?” Koushiro snapped.
“Kiss me,” Miyako replied with a smug grin.
“You’ve been spending far too much time with Mimi,” Koushiro grumbled, but he leaned forwards nonetheless.
“Miaow,” Miyako grinned.
