(no subject)
So I haven't written anything for ages becasue I am very lazy. things I have done recently include.
Going to the opening of the mardi gars film festival and watching some aussie shorts, and ending in free alchol which was good. Dispite the fact I made it to the opening I failed to see any programmed films as they aways clashed with somthing else.
Rose and I have book a holiday for before we leave going to melborne and on a bus trip to alice spring, becasue lets face it we're not going to be back here anytime soon.
I'm off to see the gossip in LA the day after we arrive and this makes me feel quite rock and roll dispite the fact I know I'm not.
I'm also currently trying to convince rose we should go to the portland womens rock camp in may. I really want to go, people should be nice, it'll be fun and I want to lean to play drums. I told rose she should just be a volunteer and do food adn equipment and stuff but she doen't seem that convinced.
Our last softball game of the season was on tueday, we managed to win one more game before we finished the season giving us total winning count of 2 SCORE!!!! I decided to drink lots of beer in the pub after the game becasue I could, which included downing 3 beers before I left as my lift was going, I then went home talked crap at people while watching rosie o'donnels family cruise which while rather lame, was slightly sweet to see so many happy families.
Its mardi gras on saturday, there is a bike float which we may be part of as there are peoples bikes we can borrow. I hope if we do decide to do it, it is good and mayhem.
We are leaving soon which is rather odd as I keep half thinking i'm going back home then I remember i'm off to ammerica for about 10 weeks. Does anyone have an suggestions on place to go as our mexico trip got cancelled and I want to do something really fun. Also nice people we could visit as having only one other person to talk to after a few weeks is rubbish.
