Naturally, I have failed at avoiding Umineko spoilers. I understand absolutely nothing of what I've read thus far, in typical Umineko fashion.
So...damn, everything I'm finding is pointing to not only Shannon and Kanon being the same person, but there being A WHOLE FUCKING LOT of other personalities as well. I'm just...I don't know anymore. I hate that theory. I HATE it. If that's the solution to everything...aaaggghhh, it's annoying. It gets past all the "this person is dead" things if there are more personalities we didn't know about -- but Ryukishi07 said the mystery could be solved after the first four arcs. I don't recall it being hinted ANYWHERE that if Shannon/Kanon were the same person, there were more personalities as well.
Fuck. I dunno. It's honestly driving me all crazy, especially the multiple Beatrices thing... Does this mean Shannon really is Beatrice? Urrrgh, I don't understand anything. And who are all these other characters? The Stakes are based off former servants? Okay. Not all of them are there? Huh? Who's Claire? How's she fit in with everything? Bern's piece, I think? Is Claire really the name she goes by?
I like (from what I've seen in summaries) Will and Lion (loool, boy or girl?! XD), and if Lion really just exists in this game I think I'll be sad. He/She sounds pretty cool, but in an alternate world where Natsuhi kept that baby...well, I guess that's all we've got there.
I'm still kinda bent out of shape over if Shkannontrice is true (damn, how many more names do we need to add to this?). I would've sworn Ryukishi07 would not do that again after Shmion. It's just too...there. It's too obvious. I don't like it at all.
Kyrie being batshit I totally could've called, but are these the real events? I....give up. Completely. I accept the bomb theory, because something had to kill them all -- but I'm still trying to puzzle out just how the meta-world works in with everything. If it's all just some...lens for us to use to figure out how to solve everything...ugh. Just ugh. I've grown to care about the meta-world. A lot. Especially Beatrice and Battler. What happens to the meta-world when this is all solved?
I do hope EP8 is the last one. I want definitive answers, please?
