Turn-tables/Record Players
In my personal opinion, they're still the collest way to listen to music. I had been wanting to get a record player for the longest time but didn't get around to it until now since I actually had an excuse to get one. I went and dug up my dad's old records. Found some cool stuff, and some rather funny stuff in that ol' collection of his. Jesus Christ Superstar. That aughta be fun. There was only one Beatle's record that seems to be in bad shape, unfortunately. This Huey Lewis and The News record seems to be in bad shape too, but it...okay, well it was tolerable. Time for the next record.
Okay...maybe I just didn't have the needle set up right earlier. The Beatles VI seems to be playing alright now. Good stuff. I've got it hooked up so I can scratch over the music from my laptop too. Should be fun.
Anyway, today's been pretty good. Woke up around 1. Cleaned my room and the studio since I'm having a friend over tonight (hopefully). Then I went to get my turn-table and mixer. Now I'm sitting here enjoying it. It really is a wonderful thing. I can't wait to really get the collection going.
Well...I'm gonna screw around with this a bit more. I'll talk later.
