Oh, thank god.
Court ended up being adjourned until 11/8 due to my lawyer issues. All I have to do between now and then is go get fingerprinted again. I mean, really, don't these bastards have AFIS? *facepalm* Cuz I know I'm in *there*. Oh well. Not a big deal.
Dad took a look at Diane today. Excellent news on that front.... he thinks I've got a fried modulator or some random component. Told me to take her to a trans shop, and if it was going to cost more than $200 to bring her home and he'll put a new trans in. I asked him how much everything should cost, and he says no more than a couple hundred bucks. I ask him if it'd run a grand if I needed a new one, and he told me no way - under $500 for sure.
So, lots of relief today. Unfortunately.... Now my body and jaw aches from being clenched and wound up due to stress. Hot bath'll take care of that later, though.
