holy color, batman!
My hair is RED! I mean, Miranda on "Sex in the City" red! Yesterday Sybil(who said she used the same color as last time but must have looked up Micaela's) goofed. So today I look like a candidate for a St. Patrick's Day float...It's pretty intense.
On the other hand, i got some great comments from people at the Catholic Center this morning. They actually really like it! Who knew? Well, it's really only temporary, unless i somehow decide otherwise. Yesterday i told Micaela that i really thought her grandmother would flip out when she saw it. She said "Why do you worry what Mem will think?" and i said "I don't know... but i really look like my daughter now." Not missing a beat, she said "Well, you could REALLY be like me and not CARE what your mother thinks!" THAT made me laugh...
So tonite i'm making spagetti for Jeremy, Andrea, Mom and Dad. I guess i'll find out what they think, and then i'll be relieved that it's over. (God, i really AM ridiculous.) It's just hair. Maybe i could just feign a spagetti sauce accident.
I am looking forward to dinner,though. Only wish my baby girl was here. She's off galavanting in other parts of New England. Hope whoever she's with is making her happy and she's having a good time & staying safe. (i wonder how her foot is? She left VT. with crutches.) Well, i'll know pretty damn soon since she's back tomorrow night.
