everything takes time
(only some things take money)
even if you want to reject the uber-scheduled paradigm, you cannot escape that things, when they happen, must happen before some things and after some other things
what about, for me, a framework of only working on "one thing at a time"? in the Long Now, this makes sense. Have only one nest of explanations of "what am I doing?" at any one time. It also needs to include "I'm doing NOT these things..."
it needs to account for every single moment. including moments of self-explanation and explanation to others. including moments of dismissal and refusal.
it is a clock. your long now clock. note what makes it tick.
more on this after dessert.
after dessert and the movie "supersize me" <- recommended
Wow, Larry Richards talked about this yesterday back in Urbana!
A mission: craft your now - pay attention and make desired decisions in the arena of - what does your now have inside of it?
