My home is finally fully fixed up, least as much as the SF Bay Area's criminal underworld's stupider members could readily afford. Even have my own washer and dryer which is nice...if a bit clunky. Largely keeping most of my spider related itens in that little attic I mentioned before. Still working on setting up that little lab in the garage and my entertainment center should arrive in a few days.
All in all, not bad.
That name thing: I've got a first name picked out, working along a german theme, of Heinrich. It's nice, it's strong, and it says something about me...just not entirely sure what. Figure that I'll just tell people to call me Hank or Henry. Last name is still a bit tricky, was thinking Gruber but passed on it quickly. This was around the same time I'd hit the "H" section of the naming book and was leaning towards Hans but that might cause problems if I ever run across Bruce Willis. So, Heinrich...something.
Been going over my gear and clothes situation. Got enough everyday stuff but the actual costuming is presenting difficulties. I didn't have a lot of time to raid Spidey's closet and got some mismatched items. Pants from one suit, shirt and glove from another. Have had to attempt some substitutions, which isn't easy when you have to consider that I still have to be able to latch onto things through whatever I choose for the extremeties. Find the black costume, the one based off of that alien symbiote, to be the best so far. I tend to keep the boots and mask on me when I'm out and about, just in case. Easy to manage though, strap on at least one webshooter and goto town on some baddies.
It's the secret identity thing that I'm bugging on. Not sure I want one. I do need a name for legal reasons but actually maintaining seperate identities is too much of a chore. Usual reason most in my trade adopt one is to protect their loved ones but I don't have any of those.
Another unponderable to ponder.
As to my arsenal, think I might want to do some upgrades to that. Tee webshooters need some more range and fine tuning and I've got some ideas for other kinds of webbing. Couple years back, Spidey had to make do with what was on hand to make some improvised webshooters and formula, working overseas with the Puma. The results were great but the webbing produced had a slightly acidic effect. Thinking that could be handy in certain extreme situations.
As to getting a job, still mulling that over. Not sure what I'd want as far as an actual "official" income and the job market around here is pretty strained as it is. Though, just to be nice, I've been helping with repairs for some nuns that are doing a fixer upper down the block.
It doesn't pay but it does make me feel good inside.
