Whew. I'm home, for three weeks. The move was strenuous, but ok. khaemera helped lots. eieidan ended up storing most of my stuff. I rode home in the new Geo Tiny with Mom and the bare minimum requirement of stuff I need for the next month. Thank the GODS that's over with, moving is a BITCH.
For some reason, moving inspired me to want to draw, a lot. Or maybe all the motion and heat just stirred something loose in my brain. But now I'm home, so I have free time...and like every summer, I swear I'm getting in shape and learning to draw well. But this time, I MEAN IT. I checked out every drawing book the library had, just about, including "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain". Aaaaaand books about how to do Manga. And dramatic Manga samples. And some Bone, Sandman, Watchmen, and ElfQuest graphic novels >_> for "inspiration"
