Welcome to Strangetown
Most of these pictures have been posted on tumblr already, but here they are together in one post: some simple makeovers of Strangetown.
First up is that weird iconic Strangetown lot.
Video game store was merged with the clothing store (interiors unpictured) and it became a not-very-elegant wedding chapel instead, just because. One day I'd like to revisit and tacky it up a bit. :)
The underground pool was replaced by a poker den because there's a real pool right next door, and an illegal gambling circle seems more appropriate in an abandoned warehouse.

Ajay Loner's fusty old house. I imagine he bought it with furnishings left from the previous (probably deceased) owners and didn't care enough to upgrade anything.

And finally, an apartment I threw in later when the families expanded and needed to spread out. This is the only one I have "before" pictures of.
Next up, maybe I'll post some gameplay. This neighbourhood is really just a spare time dabbling type of 'hood, but this journal is a spare time dabbling type of experiment, so they go well together. :)
