so the ending to "the china syndrome" was pretty dissapointing. i'm not going to spoil it or anything, but i will say that the very last scene was a microwave oven commercial, which was probably a social commentary on how we're all going to get radiation from our microwaves or something, but i was too busy watching the commercial and being like "whoa, look at those crazy 1979 microwaves! they HAD microwaves in 1979?? that's crazy!" and i think the commercial was about how this one lady had a microwave that turned her food , but the other lady's didn't, so she had to stop her microwave and turn the food manually. so, realisticly, there probably was an ending that a normal person would like, but i was too busy paying attention to the microwave oven commercial. and then it went to credits, and i was like "what?? where was i when the movie ended??"
