i've got a horrible cold, but it's finally starting to go away. I don't know if it's because I am generally sick, or I am having withdrawl symptoms from quitting smoking cigarettes.

I know what you mean about the quitter's flu. I've gone through waves of smoking regularly/semi-heavily and then cutting back when I felt like I was smoking too much, and every time I felt terrible. Best of luck to you with your quitting :) I know you can do it if you really want to.
