i'm the type of person that doesn't take their contacts off ever. ... is that even a type of person? hahaha. today, my eye was itching, so i kinda poked at it and mid-poke i realized that this was going to dislodge my contact lens. and, it did. so, i finally took them out. i seriously don't remember the last time i removed them. it has to be at least 3 weeks. i would say.. 2 months at the most. yeah, everyone tells me how dangerous it is... but, really, how dangerous is it?
and i'd like some proof. hahaha. i've heard that it can scratch your cornea or something. but, the way i see it--constantly removing and putting in your contacts would seem to raise the risk of possible scratch-age. i've also been warned about possible infection--my (sometimes messed up) logic thinks that the lens sitting in your eye 24-7 is safer than the lens sitting in your eye, and then sitting in a lens case, interspersed with possible infected finger contact.
so, that's my contact lens story. =)

good times @ 1093. of course, this wasn't the whole 1093.. i guess this was more of the 2nd year brothel group. hahaha. other 1093-ers included kevin wong, jessie, pat, and eugene. ^_^

white chocolate cold press
if you havn't tried it yet... you should! it's a white chocolate cold press from caribou. mmm. well, those of you on the west coast can't 'cause you don't have the awesomeness that is caribou coffee. hahaha. so, in a sense, cold press is iced coffee. but, it's not. iced coffee would be .. brew some coffee and then add ice to make it cold. cold press is actually coffee steeped in water over night. so, the coffee is never actually brewed or heated. ouuu, interesting! hahaha, it gives it a very distinct and mellow flavor. mmm. w/o anything added though it's just like black coffee. so, you can either add cream &&|| sugar. OR you can add a shot of white chocolate. MMM! hehehe. DO IT!
