haven't you learned not to leave yourself logged into lj when people (like me and Cat) are over?
And also, Temple of Doom = not good by any stretch. Sure, it has that rolling rock scene thing, but it breaks the cycle (nazi movie, stereotypical South American Natives, nazi movie). Also, the woman wines, a whole lot, and is very annoying.
But then again, you like Tremors, so what should I expect?
And me liking Tremors has nothing to do with me being okay with Temple of Doom! Tremors has Kevin Bacon, and huge worms that eat people. Temple of Doom has Short Round, and a dude gets his heart ripped out of his chest.
They may not be the best movies around, and Kate Capshaw is REALLY ANNOYING but I'd still watch them as part of a Sunday afternoon, if there was nothing better on.
but...there is always something better on than Temple of Doom or Tremors...always
Yes, they are definitely corrilated 1. Both are horrible movies 2. Both have non-realistic plots (giant man eating sand tube worms aren't exactly the most relateable things). 3. THE WOMEN WHINE AND COMPLAIN INSTEAD OF DOING SOMETHING TO HELP.
Edit: I was tired when I wrote this, and I later realized that the rolling rock of doom was in the first movie, not the second, and that the movie took place in Asia, not South America (which makes it even worse, cause those natives look like steretypical Mayans, NOT native India Indians)
